Scanned sideways? Photographed upside down? Rotating a PDF fixes page orientation permanently so the document reads correctly on every device and prints the right way up.
Choose a rotation angle and apply it to the whole file or just the pages that need it. The change is saved into the PDF itself, not just your viewer.
How to rotate PDF pages
- Upload your PDF.
- Pick a rotation: 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counter-clockwise.
- Apply it to all pages, or enter specific page numbers to rotate.
- Click Rotate and download the corrected file.
Which angle do I need?
| Problem | Rotation to apply |
|---|---|
| Page lies on its right side | 90° counter-clockwise |
| Page lies on its left side | 90° clockwise |
| Page is completely upside down | 180° |
Useful features
- Rotate the entire document or a custom selection of pages.
- Saves the rotation into the file so it sticks in any reader.
- No quality loss — pages are not re-rendered as images.
- Private by design: processing happens locally.
Frequently asked questions
Will the rotation persist when I email the file?
Yes. Unlike rotating inside a viewer, this writes the orientation into the PDF, so it looks correct everywhere.
Can I rotate only even or odd pages?
List the page numbers you want (for example 2, 4, 6). For long documents, type the full list once and apply.
Does rotating change the file size much?
No, rotation only updates a small orientation value per page; file size is essentially unchanged.
